Where the Time Goes?

I was talking to my niece today, she is around 22 or so, and she has a little girl named Katrina (don't ask) that will be 1 on January 26th the same day that my brother (her father) will turn 44, go figure. As we talked about things and everything, I picture her in my mind as this mischievous baby that she was, I can pass that age, I cant' believe that my little baby niece has a baby, I can believe that she had grown.
Karina calls me quite often, which is a good thing since we were not that close when she was a teenager or even before that. There is a space of time that she is absent of my memories, she wasn't there at all, now she calls me and I go to visit her every now and then, she lives in PA very far from me, so we have to plan the visits, but I really enjoy talking to her.
I have 5 nieces Elena is 33 and have two boys one is 7 and the other is 5, Isabel is 27 she just got married in October 28th Steven and my mom went to Costa Rica for the wedding.
Katherine is 24, and is married to this guy who is in the Marines, he just came from Iraq but he is stationed in North Carolina, and Katherine is living in Costa Rica, no idea why. She has no kids yet. Karina who is 22. And Abby, Abigail, she is 8 months and is so funny and happy.
As I sit to contemplate the past I realized how much I had miss because I lived my own life, or maybe because I rushed to my own future; let us slow down in life; things will get to us on its due time. Meanwhile let us enjoy and live the today, so we can have less regrets tomorrow.
Enjoy Life.

It really does go fast. I can't believe that Julie is going to be 18. I can remeber putting pony tails in her hair(trying to she would rather Eric do it) it's hard to change that relationship from little girl to teen to adult. I'm looking forward to the adult part the teen years are very tough.

Scripture of the Day

"Bring ye all the tithes
into the storehouse, that
there may be meat in mine house,
and prove me now herewith,
saith the Lord of hosts;
if I will not open you the
windows of heaven, and pour
you out a blessing, that
there shall not be room enough
to receive it
