I LOVE Indexing

I LOVE indexing, if you don't know what that is; it's Volunteers extract family history information from digital images of historical documents to create searchable indexes that assist everyone in finding their ancestors.
When the information indexed by volunteers is ready for publication, it will be made available FREE OF CHARGE through familysearch.org. Some of these indexes will be posted by our partnering societies.
Become a volunteer.
Anyway I LOVE doing it, yesterday I was extracting this info and there it was a 72 yeas old men got married to a 18 yeas old girl, before you say anything this happened in 1975, anyway at the same time they legalized their daughter who was a year old, can you imagine the story behind that marriage?
Well today I found a boy not older that 16 getting married to a 14 years old girl. like this ones you find so many different names, ages and stories behind them just waiting to be told,
You should do it; your heart goes to those names that you are typing and they become someone you know, they become your family.
I love indexing I do it for two reasons, one to help the church, and two to see if I can find someone from my family while I'm at it. (kill 2 birds with 1 stone) best of all I had found so many names and dates, children, families that got together, it's just amazing,
You Should try it.
Scripture of the Day

"Bring ye all the tithes
into the storehouse, that
there may be meat in mine house,
and prove me now herewith,
saith the Lord of hosts;
if I will not open you the
windows of heaven, and pour
you out a blessing, that
there shall not be room enough
to receive it

-Malachi 3:10-
