Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!!!!

It's been busy around here, my niece, her husband and my sister came from CR last Saturday at 1:30 am, so lil' old me went to pick her up (because i have the biggest car) it was so fun to see how they look after 3 years since the last time I saw my niece and 5 for my sister. My brother in law didn't come, (bummer) he is such a sweet heart and loves me like I was his daughter, did I tell you I have a niece my age, but the one that came Isabel is younger.
Anyway I took pictures, we were in the Bronx Saturday, and took plenty of them, but I the camera with my niece, forgot to get it, I'm expecting them to come tomorrow, when they get here I will show you all the pics.

GUESS WHAT??? . . . . . . Santa Clause is coming tonight, I got my gift already I received a FooFighters official tour t-shirt (look it up) yeah! I'm a FooFighter junkie, (That's more than a fan).
ANYWAY Santa is coming and the fun part of all is you get to track him, yes NORAD (North America Aerospace Defense) tracks Santa and he is airborne as I type, last time I checked he was in Fiji; isn't that fun?.
You get to track Santa with your kids, I been doing this with Steven and Samantha for some time and you just have to see Sam's face when she get to see where Santa is; it's priceless,

Well, Merry Christmas to all, I hope you'll enjoy your evening, I'm staying home with the closest ones, no big dinner, we'll be watching "A Christmas Story" (is not Christmas without it) and tracking Santa, visit the link it have fun stuff.

Twilight takes $70.6 mil

Well let me tell you I saw the movie, and Kristen Steward (Bella) was the perfect choice for the role but big head Robert Pattinson (Edward) had a weird "do" that made his head looks excessively big in comparison with his shoulders, it was weird, and to tell you the truth he was a bit Charmin but I would had choose a better looking guy. I heard the real good looking guys wouldn't go for the amount of money they were offering Robert, So they had to make this guy appear very handsome. I guess we will have to keep him.

Anyway guess what. . .  New Moon is coming soon (of course now they have the $70.6 mil budget enough to make 3 more movies New Moon, Eclipse and Braking Dawn) I had the impression that they were working on New Moon but I guess not since Stephenie Meyer stated yesterday that New Moon will start production soon.

I could tell you more about the movie but the part I liked the best was the time I got to spend with my friends, WOW I didn't realized I knew so many girls.

Where's Waldo (my mouse)

If were wondering where I been well I been busy building 2 websites one is  this one

Yeap I got myself into Tupperware I think is very affordable and I mean is like craftsman (life time guarantee), so I signed up for it and probably I send you a e-mail inviting you to a online Tupperware party, please sign in.
Also I have sooooo many items at home to get rid of Avon products and Mary Kay too so I build a website http://mause.synthasite.com/ to sell then all they are very affordable, I will mail at no extra charge and they are tax free. When I was done with this (not really I still working on this website) I turned off my computer and guess what when I went to turn it back on I lost my mouse, you may ask yourself how can you do that, (I asked myself the same) well I figure that it's a normal issue for someone with a desk like mine
If you look closely my mouse is wireless so I can't trace it (bummer) so I have to clean my desk to find it, awgr! that may take weeks, well it already took one.
SO here is where my dear friends come handy if you see my mouse can you let me know? I'm using my laptop but it's not the same I have most of my info in the desktop . . . . I NEED MY MOUSE I promise I will clean my desk. . . . . . . one day. . . . . . . before I die. . . . .  luv ya

Nine Words Women Use

  1. Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.
  2. Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.
  3. Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.
  4. Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!
  5. Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of nothing.)
  6. That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.
  7. Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome' . That will bring on a 'whatever').
  8. Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying F--- YOU!
  9. Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to # 3.

New President

I'm Happy to say that Barack Obama is the 44th President of the United States, I'm happy not only because he won, but because I'm part of this historic moment, and I'm happy to be able to tell my children about this event, and when they ask me what I was doing when he got elected, I'll say I was watching it on TV then I blog it out for my friend.

Enjoy this historic time and record it for the reference of our children.

Did you Vote?

Did you vote today?
Well; Walt left at 5:45 am and at the polls were
15 people in front of him waiting to vote,
it went quickly and soon
he was on his way to work,
he would have made it on time if it wasn't
for a car accident in exit 11 of the I-85,
Anyway he voted, early in the morning...

Have you?

I'M SORRY

I'm SOOO SOOORRYYY!!
I have not been blogging lately but that doesn't mean I wasn't thinking about doing it. But I have a good reason for not doing it.
Well; Walt was away for three weeks, it was hard to be alone, on the second we week we were using a video conference, just to get in touch.Anyway, the weekend he left he got this little computer, it is cute, very small it was supposed to be better, better mother board, sound and video and faster than my old monster, I started to put my software in it, and guess what? the CD drive wasn't working, and me not knowing about how to fix it internally, (Hardware) I got stuck using my laptop.
I really like my laptop so I don't use it for much that things I really need.
I had to wait for Walt to get back (last weekend the 17th) so he can fix the little block. So instead of fixing it to my needs I settle for my old monster. But when I wasn't using the laptop or the little block; this is what I was using, It was complicated when it got to the point of uploading pictures.
This is my excuse and I'm sticking to it

I'm a Tourist in my own town

I'm such a tourist.
Friday we got our things together and decided to meet Walt in New York at my mom's house in the Bronx. If you didn't know Walt is been in a training in Delaware since the 28th of September, and he's been coming home every weekend since then.

SO
I called the taxi company on Thursday to assure I would have a car to pick me up at home and take us to the train at 2:30 pm on Friday. our train was schedule to depart at 2:48 so I thought 18 minutes will be enough time to get there; I was told to call at 1:30 to confirm the time.

I called TWO hours before the time, and I was told that I was going to get a call 5 minutes before 2:30 to let me know the car was on the way. At 2:35 I called back and I was told they will call me when a car was available, and the nasty dispatcher got the courage to argue with me that my train will leave at 3:12 pm and not at 2:48 that I had time. . . Long Story short I missed the train. . . .

With no one to call on such a short time

We decided to figured out the buses, yes I said "figure out". I searched the Internet for the times and routes, then the maps to see what bus was the closest to our house, we found out that #12 goes right by us and will take us to the green; from there we'll have to walk few blocks to the train station, no biggie. . . . . . But I wasn't sure about the fairs and how good on time they are. . .

SO

little old me call the transit authority, and the nice lady answer all my Duffy questions, including if the bus takes cash or I needed some sort of pass. . . So off we went bags on our backs and car seat on hand (we were coming back on Walt's car so we needed the car seat) and snacks on hand, for the long trip, we started to walk to the bus stop, getting there was easy we just had a little problem. . . where is the bus stop? . . . Steven's friend was outside and it was nice of her to tell us where to stand to wait for the bus. . . . . . . . . so off we went. . .
When the bus got there we asked if it was going to the green, (just to make sure), got on the bus and off to the train station to get on the next train 2 hours after missing our previous train.

Finally we made it to Fordham Road in the Bronx at 7:20 pm hungry and exhausted for the hard long trip which Samantha enjoyed to the fullness, we went to get some Spanish food and headed to grandma's house to eat.

The end.

Moral of the story: don't call the taxi cabs on Waterbury they will let you die before they arrive, because that's the only company in town, it's a monopoly, and they don't even have good service.

The beauty of Service

Yesterday I spend my day in Samantha's school. I volunteer to help in a school "sale" the sale was of little trinkets for the kids and the money was tickets they earned by behaving, being safe and respect others, it was very nice, many kids came with up to 16 tickets, others with just one, this ones got a colorful pencil.

Well Sam got two, so she took home a coloring pencil, very cute.

I got the best of all the gifts they had there, I collect a dozen of thank yous , and few "You are so nice" I even got a hug, but the best of all was a thank you from Samantha:
Sam: Thank you mommy
Mom: For what?
Sam: Thank you for helping the kids get their toys. They were very happy. Thank you very much Mommy.

This just brought tears to my eyes, she was happy I helped.

Still Working

We been working a lot on the house, my laundry room was the first one to be done, (sorry I forgot to take a picture), then we fixed the pantry but the neatness didn't last long Walt put all his tools in it, but I'm still working on it. Then we moved to Steven's room even though still looks like it is under construction believe me he is settle
Trust me this room was clean before I took the picture. Samantha's room was next and thankfully she still has a clean room.
After Sam's room we moved to my computer room, as you see we still have boxes to go Through, but at least the computer is running, and the fax machine works. I needed my computer room to be ready to go because we had a short time before the comcast guy came to set up the cables and stuff. (I know it's been almost a month but I'll get there someday)

My room was left for last because the vent that provides heat to this room was located under the bed, (or the bed was going to cover the vent) SO it had to be relocated to near the wall, that little work took few days before we got to set up the bed, but it's done, still needs work but at least I can move around. the bunch of pillows in the bed belong to the futon but this one still on pieces in the family room.
My living rooms has less boxes now, but I blame Walt for this, remember the vent in my room? well another reason for the relocation of the vent was because it ran in the middle of the wall that divided the kitchen and the living room, the two rooms looked very small so Walt open a huge window between them. The work finally was finished yesterday the 24th.
Maybe you can see the window I'm talking about at the left of the picture above.
My kitchen, a work in progress.
And I will take more pictures soon .... Thanks for reading my blog, Luv ya all!!!!

Still Working on the house

I will post pictures as soon I can find the thingy that reads my card, but the house looks better now we have less boxes and things I'm planning a garage sell for this weekend but I'm not sure if I should go for it, I still have plenty of boxes I haven't gone through yet, and I may want to include them in my sell, anyway.

I'm still alive, a bit sick though, but alive. Walt asthma had kicked in few times, lucky for us he has a machine at home that keep us from landing in ER taking the same medications.

I got to go but I plomise I will post pictures very soon. . . . . . . . . . . .

yes I said I plomise. . . . look it up!!!!

News from the house

Well we are in the process of moving, almost everything is pack, only few things still out. but whatever is not in boxes stays in the house.

The new house is getting few things remodel like the family room will need a new carpet or a new flooring OR a VERY GOOD cleaning. I need to clean the laundry room from spiders, (that's a must) and the kitchen needs a little rearranging because my stove and fridge are too big for the area.

So we are busy, busy, busy, we are not going to paint, the budget got very small after paying car fees and taxes, so we are trying to find a short term solution so we can move tomorrow, so we are using a lot of sponges and water to clean walls and spots every where.

Today I'm at home waiting for the guy who is going to check the refrigerator because is not cooling (bummer). So what better thing to do that to blog while I can.

Samantha Started School yesterday, and Steven started on Wednesday so, with kids out of the house, I feel like I have SOOOOOO much time to do everything I have to, (thanks heavens for all day school)

I'm out I just wanted to update for the last time until I get connected again sometime next week.
Bye

The Word is Pissed

YES I"M PISSED OFF what do you want me to say?, it's been weeks and we still haven't close. Guess what? we were at the lawyers office and the sobs from the seller part hadn't send the deed, and with no deed, no sell. So yes I Am pissed, if our lawyers doesn't receive the deed tomorrow morning we have to do the papers all over again and it will take a day or two so we are looking at a closing day of Friday if the deed is not there "now".

That's not all Walt doesn't have more days off so he took today for the closing, and tomorrow for other personal issues he need to attend, that leave us with only two days vacation to clean, paint, move, unpack, settle the kids for school and "maybe" rest before work and school starts all over again. So yes I am (for lack of a "g" rated word) pissed off

Pretty Rainbow

Walt gave me this camera last Christmas and I just love it. Last Saturday while I was reading "Breaking Dawn" (yes dear friends I'm in book #4 now) Sam started screaming about the pretty rainbow, witch happens to be a stratosphere rainbow, so I run inside to grab my camera and took this awesome picture.

WE HAVE A DATE

Well Guess what? . . . ? hum??????

WE HAVE A DATE, THIS TUESDAY IN THE AFTERNOON . . . WHICH MEANS we are not moving Saturday. . . That sucks, since School starts next Wednesday I didn't wanted to be driving and dealing with moving and unpacking and driving the kids to school at the same time, (at least Steven and Sam will be in schools close by) Anyway, I feel SOOOOOOO much better now, I'm finishing packing with a better attitude since I know now that we been moving Next Saturday. . . the 30th . . .

SO . . . I am very grateful for all of you and for putting up with my tantrums/panic attacks/bad mood, (all included in one blog) I really appreciate Kayla and Christy for giving me beautiful words of encouragement and for Kim P and her wonderful spirit that just being next to her made me feel better and comforted that everything will come around, . . .eventually,

I'm grateful for Jen's friendship, and all of yours, this is the first time in my life I really can say with confidence that I have friends.

Thank you all, I love ya!. . .

Sorry i will keep blogging until I get my service disconnected or unplugged.

I'm going nuts

I'm a nervous wreck, I don't know what's going on, the seller hasn't provided a power of attorney to the attorney (dawh!) and I'm here not knowing what to do.
I read two books so far, and I'm starting the third one today, I'm washing everything I think will need washing, so just I don't have to think that we are waiting, I'm just so frustrated, angry, disappointed, bored, anxious, you name it I have it.
I can't wait, I'm very patient but this is beyond my ability to handle.
I'm, plain and simple, going nuts over here.

HOUSE NEWS

Well guess what? we are not closing today, Friday, as planned.
The seller is not ready with some documents that our lawyer needs to record the transaction, (or whatever she said), and we are been held by the seller, isn't that great? . . . awgh! . . . Now; our lawyer said that she doesn't know when they are going to be ready, and until that paper is received we can't schedule a time for closing. . . that sucks. . . Anyway I will keep you all posted.
Thanks all for your help and support.

I am sick today

I feel horrible today, I feel like the picture, maybe worse. I'm too busy to get sick. I been taking Advil cold and sinus, but is not helping, I took a claritin yesterday because I thought maybe is allergies and guess what, I felt better for 20 minutes then I was back on the horse. I'm seriously considering to call my doc, after Walt told me the other day that as I get older I will get weird illnesses that I never had before --got to love him--

Guess What? ? ? ?

Yes I had to do it, Jen, Kim, Kayla, everybody was driving me nuts with the whole thing. I went and order them all at one shot It didn't cost me much since my brother has a year thingy with Amazon.com and the shipping was free, and I save like $9.35 in the whole purchase, so they say.
So if I don't answer the phone is because I'm hooked on the new books I got, if I don't like them I will meet with you personally, I just don't like the fact that the first book is paperback and the others are hard cover. . . Anyway; So see yall around!! . . .

By the way did you noticed the countdown?

WE HAVE TO GO

I was there last year working with AVON, it was very hot in out tent but very nice and fresh outside it. WE HAVE TO GO i got many, plenty of goodies, and i bought very nice and cheap items like my all favorite Egyptian cotton sheets, for $20, I love them they get that soft every time you wash them, you will be a fool if you miss it. parking is $5 and entrance as you can see will be free.

They are not paying me for this, I just want to spreed the news. I really enjoy it last year and regret I didn't have more time to enjoy the place.

I'll be going very early in the morning, believe me it's the best time right about noon things are getting busy, I'm planning on seeing everything and getting a sample of everything. I'm bringing a backpack for all. If you can't print this coupon send me a note I'll e-mail it to you. and since it is Women's Expo husbands are allowed for caring bags or watching kids. See you all there.

Items For Sale

I have all this Items and more, including make up, please let me know if there is anything you like.

Nothing New

Well I have no much to Blog about. I'm moving, to a new home close by.
Callings are doing great and diet not so much. I'm packing and it is very hard when you realize how much junk you had accumulated over the years. I'm selling everything I have, but I'm over with e-bay and graigslist I'm just OVER is not selling and I need the dough to move.

I'm frustrated because every day is a new issue we have to conquer with the loan, a new paper that doesn't match or a new document they can't find, don't get me wrong, I have faith that things are going to work out well, it's just sooooo much for little old me to handle while packing. And now we may not close by the 15th as planned....
So that's what's up with us as we prepare to start all over again in a home mildew free and with no termites.

Weapon of Choice

So, Samantha found a way to get into everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, and she had chosen, what i like to call,
"Her weapon of choice"

Needless to say she goes everywhere with it.

Scripture of the Day

"Bring ye all the tithes
into the storehouse, that
there may be meat in mine house,
and prove me now herewith,
saith the Lord of hosts;
if I will not open you the
windows of heaven, and pour
you out a blessing, that
there shall not be room enough
to receive it

-Malachi 3:10-

"Friendship is
a plant
which must
often be
watered."
